Panasonic have recently released theirPanasonic UST Lens latest lens for their range of projectors. The ET-D75LE90 is an ultra-short throw lens that is designed to fit most Panasonic three-chip DLP projector. The new lens offers large screen projection from an extremely short distance. In comparison to a standard Panasonic lens the new ET-D75LE90 can project the same size screen from over half the distance away. The new lens is designed to be easy to install and simply slots into the projector in place of the old lens. This new lens complements Panasonics ultra-short throw lens that was designed for one chip DLP projectors (ET-DLE030). Both of theses lenses offer backwards compatibility for older projector models. This lens would be well suited to situations where as much space as possible is needed to be saved, such as for digital signage in a shop window where the projector would have to be mounted on a ceiling in close proximity to the screen. It would also be suited to classrooms that need as much space saved as possible or in a public places where things need to be hidden from public sight such as a museum.
